The menu at The Windsor Inn on the River Bed and Breakfast varies according to the season and the whim of the hostess, who's always open to suggestions and your preferences! Fresh fruit, juice, home baked breads, biscotti, muffins, cereal, hot "dish of the day" (check out our menu!) Cool bottled water, freshly brewed coffee & tea are always available. Still haven't whetted your appetite? We can arrange in-house catering or even dinners at one of Windsor's fine restaurants! A gourmet home-cooked breakfast is served from our Butler's Pantry and at our guest dining room table. Here, you may meet fellow guests from virtually any part of the world. Both the dining room and the verandah share a glorious view of Alexander Park, the riverfront, and Belle Isle (on the US side). But don't just enjoy the view from inside, be a part of it! Ask us about our famous picnic basket meals; have one prepared and bring it down to the river, just as the locals do. Guests are welcome to enjoy their breakfast on our verandah as well - or you can be served in your suite upon special request.
